Frequently Asked Questions
How can I see a preview of your paintings that will be for sale?
The best way to stay up-to-date is to follow me on Instagram and by signing up for my mailing list (at the bottom of this page). I announce new artwork releases on Instagram and via my mailing list.
How can I receive notification of new paintings available for purchase?
When you sign up for my free mailing list (at the bottom of this page), you will receive notification of release dates of new paintings.
Do you offer framing services?
Yes, for some of the works I create. You can read more here about the professional framing methods and materials I employ. Please note that, even for works which are sold without a mat or frame, there may be staging photographs which show the works matted or framed. This is a resource to help collectors visualize what the artwork may look like if it were matted and/or framed. To eliminate confusion, the listing for each artwork clearly states whether the artwork will arrive to the collector mounted and matted, or framed.
Do you ship internationally?
I currently do not ship internationally. I ship within the continental United States, as well as to Alaska and Hawaii.
Do you ship to post office (P.O.) boxes?
I ship only to physical addresses — I do not ship to post office (P.O.) boxes.
What is the cost of shipping?
I absorb the cost of shipping so that shipping is free to any buyer within the continental United States. Buyers located in Alaska or Hawaii who are interested in purchasing artwork, please contact me for a shipping quote. If a package is returned to my studio due to customer error (for example, customer makes a mistake entering shipping address), fees to re-ship the artwork will be the responsibility of the customer.
How do I know when to expect the arrival of the painting I purchased?
Your artwork should ship within approximately 10 days of purchase (when my shop is open, I dedicate three days evenly spaced throughout the month to framing, packaging, and shipping artwork). Then, once your painting ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
What is your return policy?
All purchases are final (unless artwork is damaged during shipping — please see below). If you are not content with your purchase, please contact me at info@erikaleighart.com to let me know: My goal is for you to be happy with the artwork you select.
What if the colors I saw on my monitor don’t look exactly like the colors of the painting in real-life?
I make every effort to ensure digital representations of my paintings are as accurate as possible. However, color vision is variable from person-to-person, and color display can vary from one monitor to another. Additionally, there is occasionally a color in a painting that is particularly difficult to capture, even with editing (e.g. paint containing glitter, shimmer, iridescence). In cases such as these, I will note this and include in the listing a photo of just that color (as some colors can be more accurately represented in isolation). Ultimately, If you are uncertain whether the colors you see are exactly what you want, please contact me for additional photos prior to purchasing artwork.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
I carefully pack your artwork to protect it to the best of my ability. If, however, your artwork is damaged during shipping, please contact me at info@erikaleighart.com within 24 hours of receipt of the damaged artwork, and please make sure to include photos in your email so that I can help resolve the issue.
Do you sell prints of your original artwork?
Not currently.
Do you teach art classes or workshops?
I am not offering any art instruction at this time.
Who has rights to your artwork?
I retain all rights to all artwork I create, including sold artwork. I alone retain the right to sell, reproduce, and license images of my work, including sold artwork. Purchasing my artwork does not grant the buyer/collector the right to reproduce, sell, or license my artwork or images of my artwork.
