Frequently Asked Questions

How can I see new work before it goes live for sale?

The best ways to stay up-to-date are to follow me on Instagram, and join my Art Insider list (see the bottom of this page). I share sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes photos, and release dates there first.

Do you sell prints of your original artwork?

No. I sell only original, one-of-a-kind artwork and do not currently plan to offer prints.

Do you accept commissions?

Yes — for collectors interested in pieces in the style of my existing work. If you’d like a painting similar to something I’ve created but in different colors or a different scale, reach out at info@erikaleighart.com. Please note that butterfly pieces are only available in sizes 36" × 48" and up.

Can I use your artwork in home staging or design projects?

Yes! I welcome purchases from interior designers and staging professionals. If you’d like assistance choosing pieces, I’m happy to provide mockups, scale advice, or material recommendations.

Do you offer framing services?

Yes — many works are offered with professional framing or archival mounting and matting. Each listing provides clear details about whether a piece arrives framed, mounted and matted, or unframed. Staging photos may show suggested framing options for visualization, but only what’s listed in the description is included with purchase.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free within the continental U.S. For buyers in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact me for a quote. For items that can be shipped to Canada, the cost of shipping is included at checkout. Please note: if a package is returned to me due to a customer address error, the buyer will be responsible for re-shipping costs.

Do you ship internationally?

I ship within the continental United States, as well as to Alaska and Hawaii. I also ship most items to Canada, with the exception of my largest paintings on canvas, which can be removed from stretcher bars and rolled in a tube. Contact me at info@erikaleighart.com for more information if you are in Canada and see a large painting that interests you.

Do you ship to post office (P.O.) boxes?

I ship only to physical addresses — I do not ship to post office (P.O.) boxes.

When will my artwork ship?

Please allow up to 15 business days for your artwork to ship. Once it does, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. However, if your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of receipt at info@erikaleighart.com with photos, and I’ll work with you to resolve the issue. If you’re unsure about a piece before purchasing, feel free to request additional photos.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

Every piece is packed with great care and with high-quality materials to protect it in transit. If your artwork is damaged upon arrival, please contact me within 24 hours of receipt at info@erikaleighart.com with photos so that I can assist you.

What if the colors on my screen look different in person?

I do my best to photograph artwork accurately, but screens vary. Additionally, some colors and those with shimmer or iridescence are hard to capture. If you’d like more photos or have questions before purchasing, just let me know — I’m happy to help.

Do you teach art classes or workshops?

Not at this time.

Who owns the rights to the artwork once it’s sold?

I retain all rights to the artwork I create, including sold pieces. That means I alone may reproduce, license, or publish images of the work. Purchasing an original grants you the right to display it — but not to reproduce, resell, or license the image.
